Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract
- Position: Full Stack Developer (Next.js & AWS)
- Location: Novena
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Salary Package: Up to $7,900 + Bonus + Medical Benefits
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js for frontend and modern backend frameworks for APIs.
- Build interactive map-based applications with Leaflet.js or similar libraries, integrating geospatial APIs and AWS datasets.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs that integrate with AWS services and external systems.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, accessible, and high-performance web interfaces.
- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and reliable deployments.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, observability, and cost-efficiency in an AWS cloud-native environment.
- Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with AWS standards.
- Document system architecture, API specifications, and deployment workflows.
Job Requirements
- At least Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Next.js, including server‑side rendering, static site generation, and API routing.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a bonus.
- Skilled in JavaScript/TypeScript for building both frontend and backend solutions.
- Backend development experience using Node.js frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
- Practical experience working with AWS services, including:
- Amazon OpenSearch Service
- Serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and S3
- Knowledge of mapping libraries like Leaflet.js for building geospatial or map-based features.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and automation tools, e.g., GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, along with Git version control.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes in AWS environments.
