Job summary

SHAW SERVICES (PTE) LIMITED invites a skilled full stack developer to join our technology team in Singapore. You will design, develop, and maintain in-house websites, POS systems, and kiosk applications using ReactJS/Next.js on the frontend and .NET Core on the backend.

Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders, implement RESTful APIs, and ensure robust testing and documentation. Opportunities to work with Azure and modern DevOps practices, while contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in ReactJS and Next.js for frontend development.
• Solid knowledge of .NET Core and C# for backend development.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and SQL Server databases.
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript; AI-assisted tools like Copilot are a plus.
• Diploma in IT or CS and strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a talented full stack developerwith a strong focus on backend development to join our company's technologyteam. As a full stack developer, you will play a key role in designing,developing, and maintaining our in-house websites, point of sales systems, andkiosk applications. You will primarily work with ReactJS, next.js for frontenddevelopment and .NET Core for backend development, collaborating closely withour frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliverhigh-quality software solutions tailored to the unique needs of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet deadlines for assigned tasks while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems, including refactoring legacy code for improves efficiency and maintainability.
• Develop new features for both existing systems and new projects, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate in requirement analysis sessions, providing accurate estimations for development efforts.
• Integrate third-party APIs seamlessly into existing systems to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold code cleanliness, consistency, and quality.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing, to ensure robustness and reliability of applications.
• Engage with end-users to gather feedback and promptly address any issues or concerns, striving for continuous improvement.
• Assist in deploying applications to Azure environment, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.

Required Experience &Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in ReactJS and next.js for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of .NET Core and C# programming language for backend development.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted software development tools(including Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) and their practical use in application development is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have:

• Enthusiastic about upgrading skill sets to keep up with the latest technologies.
• Experience with integrating payment systems or gateways.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
