Full Stack Developer

Work Location: Downtown core, Singapore

Job Type: 2 Years Contract, subject to renewal

About the Role:

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience from the front-end to the back-end of our digital platforms. We are in search of a multifaceted professional who can seamlessly integrate both client-side and server-side development.

Primary Responsibilities:

End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and implement full-stack solutions, ensuring a seamless and interactive user experience across our digital platforms.

Front-End Mastery: Craft intuitive and responsive user interfaces using the latest front-end technologies and frameworks.

Back-End Excellence: Develop robust and scalable server-side applications, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.

Security Protocols: Prioritize the security of both front-end and back-end components, implementing best practices to safeguard user data and system integrity.

Quality Assurance: Adopt Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, creating comprehensive tests for both client-side and server-side functionalities.

Collaborative Development: Engage in code review sessions, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain the highest coding standards.

Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends in full-stack development, exploring new technologies and tools to enhance system capabilities.

Ethical Coding Standards: Uphold the highest coding ethics, ensuring transparency, reliability, and integrity in all development processes.

Project Reporting: Regularly report on project progress and status, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of any developments or challenges.

Time Management: Maintain accurate timesheets and attendance records, ensuring transparency and accountability in work hours.

Remote Work: Possess the ability and discipline to work remotely, ensuring consistent communication and productivity regardless of location.

Any other tasks and works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of project experience in full-stack development.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in backend using languages and frameworks like meteor in node.js, ngrok in python, Ruby on Rails.

Familiarity with mobile app development for platforms like iOS (Swift) and Android (Java, Kotlin) is a plus.

Database Expertise:

Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.

API Development:

Proficiency in designing, developing, and optimizing RESTful APIs. Familiarity with GraphQL is a bonus.

Experience working with cloud services from providers like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Knowledge of cloud-native services such as AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions.

Development Methodologies:

Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

Familiarity with agile and Scrum methodologies, and tools like JIRA or Trello.

Version Control & Collaboration: Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

Security:

Understanding of web and application security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication and authorization methods.

Performance Optimization:

Skills in optimizing both frontend and backend components for performance, including caching, code splitting, and database optimization.

Responsive Design:

Experience in creating applications that work seamlessly across devices, from desktops to mobiles.
