Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join a product-focused engineering team in Singapore. You will design and develop scalable applications and services across backend and frontend technologies, collaborating with product, engineering and business teams to deliver innovative solutions.

The role focuses on building and enhancing scalable software, APIs and microservices, while improving system design, performance and reliability in cloud and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java (preferably Java 17+) and Spring Boot.
• Strong background in microservices and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of scalable, distributed application architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments.
