Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to join SMAI in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and supporting AI-powered applications that improve manufacturing operations across Micron's global fabs and sites.

You will work with data scientists, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to deliver scalable AI solutions, APIs, and automation tools. The ideal candidate has 2+ years building production AI/web apps, strong Python/JS, SQL, and hands-on Docker/Kubernetes

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field.
2+ years building and shipping production web or AI applications end-to-end.
Experience deploying web/APIs/data-driven solutions.
Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills; SQL proficiency.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD practices.
Knowledge of GenAI, prompt engineering, RAG, LLM integration, and Responsible AI.

Responsibilities

Design and build end-to-end AI solutions including data pipelines, models, APIs, and dashboards.
Develop responsive front-end apps using React, Angular, or Streamlit and Python/FastAPI services.
Support AI model deployment, evaluation, and integration into manufacturing workflows.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and manufacturing stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions.
