Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore seeks a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting operations independently. This role involves end-to-end accounting including financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience, a degree in accounting, and strong technical expertise in accounting principles and software. Preferred candidates are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a small business or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, including GST.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to regulatory standards.
• Develop, manage, and monitor the company's budget.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with tax obligations.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize financial resources.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)

Proficient in accounting software (QuickBook Online)

Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis
