Job description

Within our INSEAD Asia Campus located at the One-North district in Singapore, we have an in-house hotel, Residences. INSEAD’s Residences has 133 rooms and they are mainly catered for short stays for our Executive Education and Executive Degree participants as well as visiting staff and faculty.

INSEAD is seeking a Front Desk Executive to join INSEAD’s Residences, in Operations and Campus Services department . This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Asia Campus in Singapore. This is a full on-site position and on shift roster.

About the job

As part of INSEAD’s Residences team, you will provide quality services to our guests during their stay. The role will involve handling the activities of the Residences Front Office. Responsibilities will include handling guests’ reservations, registration, guest services, maintenance, and settlement of guests’ accounts at the Residence Front Office.

Your role within the team
  • Residences Operations: You will manage all operational issues related to administration, finance, guest services, housekeeping, front office and reservations. Your role is to deliver an excellent customer service experiences ensuring that service standards INSEAD's expectations. You will also adhere to the Residences Reception policy and procedures.
  • Administrative and Finance: You will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will coordinate and execute financial transactions and activities, including bill payments, invoicing and processing refund to guests or department requestors
  • Guest Services, Housekeeping & Front Desk Operations: You will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external guests by managing reservations and ensuring that cleaning standards align with INSEAD's expectations. This include maintaining and cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, common areas and the lobby.
  • Reservation Operations: You will handle reservation requests from various channels, such as the Residences SG inbox, Opera Online Web booking, mass reservations and transfer service requests.
The ideal candidate profile
  • At least a diploma or NITEC, in hospitality/tourism
  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in hospitality/customer service industry will be preferred
  • Proficient in OPERA systems and Microsoft Office
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Passionate about helping others and dedicated to delivering excellent service to both internal and external clients
  • Work effectively with others, readily share information, and support a collaborative work environment.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work and demonstrate reliability in performing their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

This is a 5-day a week roster system and includes the following shift schedules:
•7am to 4pm
•11am to 8pm
•2pm to 11pm
