A well-established fresh food e-commerce and supply chain platform is seeking a Fresh Produce Quality Control Manager to support its warehouse and operations team in Singapore.
This role focuses on hands‑on quality inspection, warehouse quality control, and end‑to‑end fresh produce management.
Inspect incoming fruits and vegetables to ensure freshness, specifications, and quality standards are met
Carry out acceptance checks and document inspection results in accordance with company procedures
Perform regular in‑warehouse quality inspections to identify spoilage, deterioration, or non‑conforming products
Monitor sorting and packing operations to ensure products meet delivery and quality requirements
Assist in handling quality issues and batch‑related incidents, working with relevant teams to resolve them
Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to support continuous quality improvement
Support SOP implementation, quality reporting, and other operational tasks as required
Diploma or above in Food Science, Food Safety, Agriculture, Biology, or related disciplines, or relevant working experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in fresh produce quality control, food inspection, or warehouse quality operations
Familiarity with fresh produce acceptance standards and on‑site quality control processes
Ability to follow and support SOPs and perform basic data reporting
Basic English reading and writing ability for work‑related communication
Strong attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night shifts, based on operational needs
5 working days per week with 2 rest days
Shift‑based schedule:
Day Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Shift arrangements are subject to operational requirements
Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience and role scope
Shift or night allowances provided in accordance with company policy
