This role is responsible for ocean freight activities and agribusiness flows in region. The person will be responsible for computing ocean freight pricing and respond to customers’ freight enquiries, coordinating internal customers, logistics, vessel-operations and chartering.

Main Accountabilities
  • Serve internal customers with competitive and creative freight solutions and strategy.
  • Maintaining regular freight and market updates.
  • Management and optimization of internal Agribusiness flows and Freight Position within company’s requirements and exposure boundaries.
  • Actively coordinating between Customer/Trade, Chartering/Operations, Global Logistics.
  • Assist in achieving Agri-Freight targets through dialogues and discussion.
  • Contributing feedback to Chartering and Freight research teams.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or above. Shipping experience is preferred.
  • 2-5 years working experience in shipping/logistics/trading.
  • Ability to price ocean freight considering the various involved trades, vessel types, regions, seasons as well as FFA/crude outlook.
  • Understanding of risk measures, P&L and related impacts.
  • Team player with aptitude to work independently, able to prioritize and focus to meet short notice deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
