Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive business development by engaging new clients through cold calling and building relationships. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Freight Operations and a good understanding of international trade. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong negotiation skills are essential for success in this role. A competitive salary will be offered commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop business through cold calling and meeting new prospects.

• Co-ordinate with Customer Service and Operations Team.
• Responsible for sales goals, KPIs, and account receivables.

• Develop business with by active cold calling, canvassing and meet up with new prospects
• Actively hunt for Import and Export shipments prospects
• Prepare Quotations and perform rates negotiations with hauliers, shipping lines, overseas agents etc
• Follow up with customer on Quotation status
• Co-ordinate with Customer Service and Operations Team to ensure shipments are in order
• Responsible for individual sales goals, KPIs and account receivables
• Foster and maintain customer relationship

Job Requirement

• Preferably minimum qualification GCE O/N levels.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of Freight Operations experience within Freight Forwarding and/or NVOCC industry.
• Good knowledge of International Trade and freight forwarding processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Result driven, self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Able to start within short notice would be advantageous.

Salary to commensurate with experience.
