A leading logistics firm in Singapore is seeking an Indoor Sales Executive to provide excellent customer service and manage freight forwarding operations. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in the industry and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Indoor Sales Executive/ Customer Service (Freight forwarding)

5 days, 9am- 5.30pm

Salary: $3200 -$3500

Job scope:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, ensuring high service standards.
  • Liaise with overseas offices and agents to coordinate quotations, bookings and shipment execution.
  • Handle import/export enquiries and bookings across sea, air and land transport modes.
  • Activate shipments based on confirmed selling rates and cost structures.
  • Collaborate closely with sales personnel to ensure smooth handover and operational follow through.
  • Source and maintain competitive rates from hauliers, shipping lines, co -loaders, overseas agents and subcontractors.
  • Monitor sales performance and contribute to forecasting and pipeline tracking.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Establish and manage client-specific standing orders or SOPs for recurring shipments.
  • Working closely with internal departments (Sales, Operations, Finance) and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Check and verify incoming job-related invoices before submission to the Finance Department.
  • Uphold all company policies including compliance, regulatory requirements, HSSE&Q standards, and Code of Business Conduct.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, freight regulations, and market developments.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency and customer
