Job summary

A logistics recruitment agency is seeking a candidate for a customer-facing role in freight forwarding. Responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and resolving issues. Our Client:

  • Freight Forwarding
  • Monday - Friday: AM shift 8.30am - 6pm / PM Shift 2pm - 10pm
  • East - Changi Airfreight Center
  • UP $4500 + Shift Allowances (For PM Shift) + Transport Claimable (PM Shift) + Performance Bonus
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on freight bookings, shipment tracking, and service inquiries, building strong client relationships through timely updates and proactive communication
  • Coordinate closely with operations teams, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth pickup, transit, and delivery of cargo, monitoring shipments and providing real‑time status updates
  • Handle customer complaints and service exceptions professionally, investigating issues and coordinating corrective actions to achieve timely resolution
  • Prepare, review, and manage freight documentation including MAWB, HAWB, Bills of Lading, and Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and industry requirements
  • Process customer invoices accurately and timely, working with finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies, credit notes, or adjustments
  • Support the sales team with rate quotations, customer follow‑ups, post‑booking coordination, and overall account servicing to support retention and growth
  • Maintain accurate operational and customer data in internal systems and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
