Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, plus experience with Instagram, TikTok and other digital platforms, is essential. You will work with supplied assets and feedback from social and creative teams.

We are looking for a freelance Social Media Graphic & Motion Designer on a monthly retainer to support content development and adaptation for a leading retail and lifestyle brand.

The role covers content touch-ups, campaign adaptations, original static content and short-form 2D animations. Working with supplied assets, brand guidelines and creative direction, you should be comfortable across static and motion deliverables, with a strong eye for layout, visual consistency and brand application.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt existing campaign key visuals and brand-provided assets into polished social media content
• Support theme ideation and visual conceptualisation for original static content, based on provided content direction and copy
• Conduct basic image retouching, colour grading and asset clean-up where required
• Apply logos, text treatments and other brand elements consistently across deliverables
• Create simple 2D motion graphics and short-form animations using campaign assets, imagery, typography and brand elements
• Adapt content across relevant social formats, including feed posts, Stories, Reels and TikTok
• Work closely with the social and creative teams to incorporate feedback and revisions
• Manage recurring monthly deliverables and meet agreed production timelines

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, or equivalent design software
• Experience creating social-first content for Instagram, TikTok and other digital platforms
• A strong eye for typography, layout, composition, colour and visual hierarchy
• Comfortable working within brand guidelines, adapting existing key visuals and developing fresh layouts from supplied assets
• Basic image retouching and colour-grading capabilities, alongside experience in 2D motion graphics and short-form social animations
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with brand elements, logos and formatting
• Able to manage multiple assets efficiently and work within agreed turnaround times
• Experience in retail, lifestyle, fashion, beauty or F&B is a plus
