A leading fragrance development company in Singapore seeks a candidate to manage sensory evaluations, maintain test data, and support fragrance library operations. Responsibilities include conducting internal assessments, preparing project reports, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has at least an 'A' Level education, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
To handle sensory and internal panel evaluations, maintain test data and olfactive maps, coordinate reporting and inventory, support fragrance library operations, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct internal panel and sensory panel assessments across categories for CFG projects. Input test results in a powerpoint template to be provided by respective category leads.
Execute triangle tests for relevant projects as required.
Conduct internal evaluations with CFG and Perfumers of new product launches by category per month. Also run evaluations of interesting products as needed.
To manage and maintain all internal aspects of the panel test results done via system for record keeping. To provide results to category leads for their analysis and summary.
Updating of category olfactive maps – to coordinate with category teams
Odour descriptors to be provided by category teams
Frequency of update to be defined – 2x a year or as needed
Back up for Fragrance Library Coordinator.
Prepare monthly projects report from system and assist in extracting data needed for statistics and analysis.
Order and manage inventory for the department via SAP
To perform other job-related duties, as assigned from time to time, when and where necessary.
Implement and conform to all established quality, safety and environmental management systems.
Support the implemented quality, safety and environmental management system.
Comply with all applicable procedures and legal and other requirements.

Minimum ‘A’ Level or higher education
English speaking
Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment
Laboratory procedures and methodology
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint
Digital savvy
SAP system knowledge preferred if available
