Job summary

Symrise is seeking an Application Lab Technician in Singapore to support fragrance application laboratories. You will perform routine tasks, collect fragrance oils, and prepare samples, contributing to stability testing and product evaluation in a collaborative lab environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Chemistry or Cosmetic Science diploma, has hands-on lab experience, and is meticulous, organized and willing to learn fragrance techniques and testing protocols.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or related field.
• Prior laboratory or application lab experience would be advantageous.
• Meticulous and comfortable with hands-on lab work.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory housekeeping to ensure a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Maintain and update base stock records accurately.
• Learn and apply industry best practices in fragrance application and testing.
• Handle routine and preparatory tasks including collection of fragrance oils from library and samples preparation.
• Assist in product testing using laboratory equipment such as viscometers and pH meters.
• Assist in producing unperfumed bases according to guided formulations.
• Support stability testing for fragrance-related products.
