Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a FRACAS Engineer for their Quality Assurance department. This role involves investigating product failures and collaborating closely with engineers to determine root causes and propose corrective actions. The ideal candidate should possess a degree or diploma in a relevant engineering field, with at least two years of quality assurance experience. Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills are essential in leading Failure Review Board meetings and engaging with customers.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of industrial experience in the quality assurance field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in delivering presentations to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities with proven teamwork skills.
  • Capable of preparing detailed reports and charts.
  • Holding a Class 3 driving license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyse product failures on site.
  • Work with engineers to determine the root cause of failure.
  • Engage customers to resolve FRACAS cases.
  • Lead and present in Failure Review Board meetings.
  • Propose corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure all forms are completed for reported failures.
  • Maintain the database of FRACAS information.
  • Monitor closure rates of FRACAS as per KPI.
  • Conduct failure trend analysis.
