Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Singapore seeks a Financial Analyst I to join the Finance team and support forecasting, planning, reporting and analytics. The role focuses on partnering with Operations and Finance, developing models, maintaining dashboards, and ensuring accuracy in reporting, while embracing AI-enabled tools to improve productivity.

You will work with data from SAP, SAC, Power BI, Snowflake, and Excel-based tools, contributing to monthly close and governance with GAAP/SOX awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Cost Accounting, Operations Finance, or related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities.
• Analyze financial results and identify Plan, Forecast, and Prior Period variances.
• Prepare recurring financial reports and management summaries.
• Assist in developing financial models and forecasting tools.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and business case evaluations.
• Monitor key operational and financial performance indicators.
• Utilize SAP, SAC, Power BI, Snowflake, and other platforms to collect, analyze, and report financial information.
• Consolidate data from multiple stakeholders and ensure data accuracy.
