We are seeking a driven and highly structured BDR Manager to join our team in Singapore and build our Business Development function across APAC. This is a foundational Go-To-Market (GTM) role, focused on pipeline creation, lead qualification, and building a world-class BDR engine from the ground up.
You will be hands-on in the early days—running inbound and outbound qualification calls yourself—while also owning the processes, SOPs, and team management required to scale a high-performing BDR organization. This role sits at the front line of our growth motion and is critical to how Manus converts demand into qualified revenue opportunities.
As the BDR Manager at Manus, you will own the entire top-of-funnel motion and be accountable for consistent, high-quality pipeline generation for the sales team.
Run inbound and outbound qualification calls: Personally handle discovery and qualification calls across inbound leads (PLGs, demos, partnerships) and outbound prospects to set the quality bar.
Own lead qualification standards: Define and enforce qualification frameworks (e.g. ICP, MEDDICC-lite, PQL criteria) to ensure only sales-ready opportunities move forward.
Convert demand into pipeline: Turn marketing, product-led, partner, and outbound signals into well-qualified SQLs for Account Executives.
Build outbound prospecting playbooks: Define ICPs, personas, messaging, sequences, and call scripts across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
Scale inbound qualification workflows: Design fast, consistent processes for routing, prioritizing, and qualifying inbound leads to maximize speed-to-contact and conversion.
Collaborate with Marketing & Growth: Align closely on campaigns, experiments, and feedback loops to continuously improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Build and manage the BDR team: Hire, onboard, coach, and manage a growing team of BDRs across inbound and outbound motions.
Set targets and performance metrics: Own activity, conversion, and pipeline KPIs; run weekly reviews and performance coaching.
Develop BDR career paths: Create clear progression frameworks from BDR → Senior BDR → AE or Sales roles.
Build SOPs from 0–1: Document and operationalize end-to-end BDR workflows—lead intake, qualification calls, handoffs, follow-ups, and CRM hygiene.
Own CRM and tooling setup: Define fields, stages, dashboards, and reporting to ensure data quality and visibility.
Drive continuous improvement: Use data and call insights to refine scripts, objection handling, and qualification criteria over time.
Be the first voice of the customer: Surface recurring objections, use cases, and buying signals from qualification calls.
Partner with Product & GTM: Translate frontline insights into actionable feedback for product roadmap, pricing, and GTM strategy.
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS business development, sales development, or inside sales.
Proven track record running high-volume inbound and outbound qualification calls.
Experience building or leading a BDR team, including coaching, performance management, and hiring.
Strong understanding of sales qualification frameworks, pipeline metrics, and funnel optimization.
Comfortable selling and qualifying technical or AI-driven products; able to quickly grasp product value and customer workflows.
Experience designing SOPs, playbooks, and CRM processes in fast-growing environments.
Familiarity with APAC markets is a strong plus.
