TP ICAP Group in Singapore is seeking an APAC AI Lead Engineer – Global Broking to identify and deliver AI-enabled productivity improvements for Global Broking desks across APAC. Role Overview The APAC AI Lead Engineer – Global Broking is a business-aligned technology leadership role responsible for identifying, designing and delivering AI-enabled productivity improvements for Global Broking desks across APAC. The role will work directly with brokers, desk heads and business managers to automate workflows, reduce manual effort, improve information discovery and support faster decision-making through practical AI solutions. The role will operate under a dual reporting model, with primary accountability to APAC Global Broking leadership for business priorities and outcomes, and a secondary reporting line to the Global AI Lab / Technology leadership to ensure alignment with TP ICAP architecture, security, risk, production and AI governance standards.
Partner with APAC brokers, desk heads and business managers to identify high-value productivity, automation and workflow improvement opportunities. Develop a deep understanding of front-office workflows, desk-specific pain points, information flows and repetitive manual processes. Translate business requirements into practical AI, automation and workflow solutions that can be tested, governed and scaled. Maintain a prioritised APAC AI opportunity pipeline, including expected benefits, delivery status, dependencies and business ownership.
Design, prototype and deliver AI-enabled tools, agents, applications and workflow automations using approved TP ICAP platforms and development standards. Develop solutions across areas such as broker preparation, market colour aggregation, document automation, research support, data extraction, workflow orchestration and cross-system information retrieval. Use approved enterprise platforms and tools, including AWS Quick, AWS Kiro, Microsoft 365 / Copilot ecosystem, internal AI platforms and other approved development environments. Apply appropriate engineering discipline, including architecture, code management, documentation, testing, operational support, production-readiness controls & risk management.
Lead the delivery of APAC AI use cases from discovery and prototyping through to production deployment and desk adoption. Define clear business outcomes, benefits measures and adoption plans for each use case. Work with desk sponsors to ensure solutions are embedded into day-to-day workflows and deliver measurable productivity improvement. Support APAC AI enablement sessions, pilots, workshops, hackathons and user engagement activities.
Ensure all AI solutions are developed in line with TP ICAP technology, architecture, security, data, risk and compliance requirements. Maintain full visibility of APAC AI solutions for Technology, Architecture, Security, Risk and Compliance stakeholders. Support required AI risk assessments, solution documentation, architectural reviews, production approval and support arrangements. Escalate risks, dependencies and blockers promptly through both the business and technology reporting lines.
Act as the primary APAC Global Broking AI engineering lead and point of coordination between business desks, AI Lab, Technology and support functions. Build strong working relationships with regional and global stakeholders across Global Broking, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance and HR. Represent APAC Global Broking in relevant global AI forums, pilots and communities of practice. Share reusable patterns, lessons learned and successful use cases across APAC and global teams.
Establish a prioritized APAC AI use-case pipeline with clear business sponsors and delivery governance. Deliver initial desk-level productivity use cases with measurable benefits and adoption evidence. Support regional AWS Quick / AI enablement activity and convert pilot outputs into scalable delivery opportunities. Create reusable Regional & Global delivery patterns, documentation and controls to support broader rollout. Maintain strong technology, architecture, risk and compliance alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
