Job summary

ENG KONG CONTAINER AGENCIES (PTE) LTD is hiring for a forklift operator in Singapore. The role involves loading/unloading containers, placing empties at safe locations, and organizing storage space to ensure efficient retrieval and release.

You will also assist in shifting containers within the depot and perform daily equipment checks while complying with safety standards. Candidate must have a forklift driver license and at least 2 years of experience; training is provided for those without

Qualifications

• Forklift driver license required.
• At least 2 years of forklift operating experience.
• OJT training provided for candidates without Hyster/Kalmar/Fantuzzi experience.
• Willing to work in Tuas and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Handle containers loading/unloading.
• Ensure to place empty containers at the appropriate locations and in safe position.
• Allocate appropriate space for container storage to ease retrieval and release.
• Ensure retrieval of containers follows their sequence or orders.
• Assist to shift containers within the depot when required.
• Observe safety protocols at all times and champion safety awareness program.
• Carry out daily maintenance checks/refueling of machine.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess forklift driver license .
• At least 2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Candidates with Hyster/Kalmar/Fantuzzi experience will be added advantage.
• OJT training provided for candidates without Hyster/Kalmar/Fantuzzi experience.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Tuas and willing to work overtime.
