Job summary

NAIGAI NITTO SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a warehouse operator to load/unload cargo, scan barcodes for stock tracking, and inspect goods for any damage. You will assist in packing, pallet wrapping, and maintaining clean, safe working areas.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy items up to 25kg, and using handheld scanners or inventory software to keep stock records accurate.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid forklift license.
• Able to work 5.5 days per week with fixed hours.
• Reliability and punctuality with attendance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• A proactive and cooperative attitude with strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently to support warehouse operations
• Scan barcodes and track stock movements to maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist in stock takes and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy
• Inspect goods for damage or shortages and report discrepancies promptly to Supervisors
• Support picking, packing, and wrapping of pallets to prepare orders for shipment
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas to ensure a safe environment
• Operate handheld scanners or inventory software to update stock information accurately
• Apply spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination to handle packages and equipment safely
• Use basic math skills to count and verify stock quantities during inventory tasks
• Adapt to physical demands including sitting or standing for long periods, working in varying temperatures, and occasionally lifting heavy packages >25kg
