Job description

You will provide forensic psychological services for both inpatients and/or outpatients within the psychiatric services as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team of mental health professionals. You will work closely with legal professionals, psychiatrists, and other specialists to evaluate individuals involved in the criminal justice system.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct forensic psychological assessments including intellectual, neuropsychological, and personality assessments, and provide evaluations for legal proceedings
  • Provide expert testimony in court when required
  • Conduct risk assessments for violence, recidivism, and public safety concerns
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care for forensic patients
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy
  • Contribute to mental health promotion programmes and psychological duties within the institute's framework
  • Provide training and consultations in forensic psychology
  • Participate in or conduct research in forensic psychology and related fields
Requirements
Competency
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong analytical and report‑writing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain professional objectivity under pressure
Educational and Professional Requirements
  • Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from an established university
  • Preferably at least 2‑3 years of relevant working experience in forensic settings
  • Accreditation, registration or license for practice with an established or recognised psychological professional body will be an advantage
