Job summary

EY's Forensic Data Analytics (FDA) practice is a global, data-focused team within the Forensic & Integrity Services department. Our team handles fraud, regulatory compliance and business disputes, guiding data discovery, capture, management, analysis and reporting across diverse clients.

As part of the FDA team, you will work with large datasets from ERP and accounting systems, employing SQL, Python/R and visualization tools to identify patterns, develop solutions, and present findings to

Qualifications

• STEM degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python and R; knowledge of visualization techniques.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Spotfire/Tableau/Power BI) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fraud investigators, auditors, lawyers and regulators on data analysis for fraud indicators.
• Mine and analyze large structured and unstructured data from ERP and accounting systems.
• Implement end-to-end data analysis using ETL, analysis, visualization and client delivery.
• Develop algorithms to detect and monitor fraud, misconduct and financial crime.
• Create visual explanations to communicate findings to clients.
• Coordinate with technology and innovation teams across engagements.
• Support end-to-end engagement lifecycle from data extraction to delivery.
