Job description

Our client is a foreign wholesale bank with a growing franchise in Singapore and in the region. They are looking to add to their team of credit approvers in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Provide inputs to front office units relating to deal structures to avoid “surprises”
• Review credit proposals prepared by the RMs in the Corporate and Commercial Banking teams
• Approve credit proposals within delegated approving limit assigned or provide recommendations to the higher approving authority where appropriate
• Ongoing monitoring of market developments to assess impact on lending portfolio

Requirements

• A recognised university degree, ideally in accounting, banking, finance or economics
• About 15 years of credit experience in Corporate and / or Commercial Banking in the capacity of a credit approver / credit analyst / relationship manager
• Excellent writing and financial analytical skills
