We’re looking for dynamic and resourceful undergraduates, postgraduates or newly graduates to join the FDI Advisory Unit at UOB — a strategic team that supports corporates expanding into Southeast Asia.

🌏 About the FDI Advisory Unit

With the global supply chain changes, rise in middle income in ASEAN, digital changes, UOB’s FDI Advisory Unit provides one-stop, end-to-end support for companies entering ASEAN — going beyond banking to offer practical market entry guidance. We connect businesses with government agencies, trade associations (TACs), and professional service providers such as legal, accounting, and HR firms.

We’re not just a banking team — we are a market-entry partner. We help corporates navigate cross-border complexity, shorten time-to-market, and operationalize their expansion plans across diverse ASEAN markets.

💼 What You’ll Do
  • Conduct in-depth market research and distill insights into actionable recommendations
  • Develop clear, structured PowerPoint presentations to communicate complex findings
  • Support project planning and execution with a problem-solving mindset
  • Assist in organizing and executing regional events and business forums
  • Build creative skills in photography, video editing, and content creation for outreach and storytelling

  • Analytical and structured in your research approach
  • Proactive and results-driven, able to execute tasks with independence and rigor
  • Creative, with a desire to grow in multimedia and visual communication. Strong in PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Passionate about ASEAN, global trade shifts, and corporate expansion into Southeast Asia
  • Multilingual candidates are a plus, especially those with proficiency in Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, or Thai, Korean, Japanese, French, German, to support cross-border communications
