Team Management
- Lead the senior football team in all competitions and official matches.
- Select players for matches and training based on performance, fitness, and discipline.
- Develop and implement game strategies, formations, and tactical plans.
- Conduct pre- and post-match analysis to evaluate team performance.
- Foster teamwork, discipline, and a winning mentality among players.
Training & Player Development
- Plan and conduct structured training sessions focusing on technical, tactical, and physical development.
- Work closely with assistant coaches and fitness trainers to ensure holistic player development.
- Monitor individual player performance and progress.
- Identify and nurture young talents for the senior team pipeline.
Match Preparation
- Analyze opponents and prepare tailored game plans.
- Manage matchday activities, including warm-ups, substitutions, and in-game tactical decisions.
- Ensure effective communication with team officials, referees, and match delegates.
Administration & Reporting
- Submit regular reports on team progress, performance, and player issues to management.
- Coordinate with team manager or administrator on logistics, fixtures, and player registration.
- Maintain discipline and uphold club policies, code of conduct, and ethical standards.
Leadership & Communication
- Serve as the key motivational leader for the players and coaching staff.
- Maintain professional relationships with club management, sponsors, and media when required.
- Promote the club’s image positively within the football community.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum AFC/UEFA B or A License (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Proven experience as a football coach or head coach at club or academy level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of modern football tactics, training methods, and sports science.
- Commitment to player welfare, discipline, and professional development.
