Job summary

SULDAN (ASIA) RESOURCES seeks a Food Manufacturing Manager to oversee the full production process in a Singapore facility. The role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and deep knowledge of food safety regulations and manufacturing practices.

You will lead daily operations, develop schedules, ensure safety compliance, manage staff, optimize equipment, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining accurate records and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the food manufacturing production line to meet production targets on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement production schedules, processes, and quality control measures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and company policies.
• Lead and motivate production staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Monitor and optimize machinery and equipment use, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols, minimizing workplace hazards and ensuring staff safety.
• Manage budget and resources effectively, including raw materials and labor costs.
