Job summary

SHWE LAT YA CATERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a daytime packing team member in Singapore to ensure meals are packed accurately and ready for delivery on time.

Training will be provided for operating semi-automated packing equipment, with no cooking or handling of raw food. The role is permanent part-time with fixed hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, in a non air-conditioned central kitchen in Tuas.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required and full training provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bags up to 8 kg.

Responsibilities

• Pack portioned meals into containers according to daily orders.
• Operate semi-automated packing equipment with training provided.
• Label packed meals accurately for delivery.
• Organise packed orders by delivery group.
• Assist with loading packed meal bags (5–8 kg) onto delivery vehicles as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the packing station during the shift.
• Ensure all packed orders are ready before the delivery team departs.

Job description

You will be part of our daytime packing team, responsible for ensuring meals are packed accurately and ready for delivery on time. This role involves operating semi-automated packing equipment (full training provided) and physical packing tasks. No cooking or food preparation involved — you will not be handling raw food at any point.

This is a permanent part-time job role with fixed working hours (<35 hours a week).

Responsibilities:

• Packing portioned meals into containers according to daily order quantities
• Operating semi-automated packing equipment (full training provided)
• Labelling packed meals accurately for delivery
• Organising packed orders by delivery group
• Assisting with loading of packed meal bags (5–8kg) onto delivery vehicles as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at the packing station throughout the shift
• Ensuring all packed orders are completed and ready before the delivery team departs

Requirements:

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only (CPF contributions apply)
• Able to commit to a fixed Monday to Friday schedule
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle bags of up to 8kg
• Able to work in a non air-conditioned environment (commercial central kitchen)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment during peak packing hours
• Willing to work on public holidays if required (a day off in lieu or additional pay will be provided following guidelines)
• No prior experience required — full training will be provided
• Punctual and reliable (we are located quite far away in Tuas - 637127)
