Zac Meat & Poultry Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Production Packer to ensure finished products are packed according to schedules, accurately labeled, and meet quality and food safety standards before dispatch.
You will conduct visual checks, verify batch numbers and expiry dates, maintain a clean packing area, follow SOPs, report issues, and assist with sorting, weighing, and stock movement as required. The role requires stamina, ability to work in a cold room, and a collaborative attitude.
The Production Packer is responsible for packing finished products according to company standards, ensuring accurate labeling, product quality, and food safety requirements are met before products are dispatched.
Pack finished products according to production schedules and packing requirements.
Ensure products are packed, sealed, and labeled correctly.
Conduct visual checks to ensure product quality and packaging integrity.
Verify product information, batch numbers, expiry dates, and labels before packing.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing area in accordance with food safety requirements.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food safety, and workplace safety guidelines.
Report any product defects, equipment issues, or food safety concerns to the supervisor.
Assist with product sorting, weighing, and carton packing activities.
Support stock movement and transfer of finished products to designated storage areas.
Ensure proper handling of products to prevent damage and contamination.
Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a clean work environment.
Assist in other production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Able to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks.
Able to follow work instructions and food safety requirements.
Able to work in a cold room environment where required.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Prior experience in food manufacturing or production environment is an advantage but not required.
Working Schedule
5-day work week: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 6:00pm; Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
