Job Responsibilities
1. Ensures acceptable grooming and customer service standard is met while on duty
- Attends to phone calls and respond to guest enquiries, requests and take orders in a prompt and professional manner
- Manages and monitors the room service status of the ‘Knowcross’ system, follow up request or orders
- Prepares and checks par stock of room service supplies e.g. fruit baskets, condiments, mise en place etc.
- Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of the room service work area.
- Responsible for the upkeep of fridge, coffee machine, cutleries, crockeries and glassware etc.
- Accounts for soiled cutleries, crockeries and glassware for washing and cleaning purposes
- Coordinates and collects food order from kitchen to be delivered to guest rooms
- Assists in poolside operations when the need arises e.g. relief during their lunch/ dinner break
- Equips with updated knowledge of the Hotel’s products and services especially in the area of F&B promotions
- Adheres to local regulations in regards of health, hygiene, safety and any other Government compliance requirements
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management
Education & Work Experience
- GCE ‘N’/’O’ Levels or equivalent
- Possesses F&B experience with general knowledge of restaurant /bar operations preferred
- Certified competent in WSQ basic food hygiene course or valid health/food handler requirements set by local government agency
- Good customer service skills in interacting with customers & co-workers
