Job summary

Soitec Group in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support daily activities and projects. The role ensures zero production interruption and requires hands-on troubleshooting of facilities systems, SCADA, and housekeeping across all sites.

Responsibilities include supervising vendors, coordinating contractor work, and keeping facilities owners informed of progress. Fresh diploma holders are welcome to apply for entry level, with 3+ years of FM or semiconductor experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a FM/semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Fresh diploma graduate or equivalent certifications are welcome to apply for entry level.

Responsibilities

• Support facilities systems owners with operational activities.
• Ensure zero interruption to production during activities.
• Understand Facilities SCADA and extract operating conditions.
• Support ACMV, CDA, VAC, MAU, UPW WWTP and Fire Protection systems.
• Identify abnormal operating conditions and perform hands-on troubleshooting.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping across all facilities areas.
• Supervise suppliers/vendors during projects and system maintenance.
• Manage in-house and ad-hoc contractors and coordinate routine servicing.
• Update facilities system owners on task progress and outcomes.
• Ensure suppliers/vendors uphold 5S standards.

Facilities Maintenance technician to support daily activiies and project.

What does the job consist?

• Support facilities systems owners with operational activities.
• Ensure all activities undertaken are well considered to ensure zero interruption to production.
• Able to understand Facilities SCADA and extract operating conditions.
• Support facilities systems including but not limited to: ACMV, CDA, VAC, MAU, UPW WWTP and Fire Protection.
• Able to identify abnormal operating conditions, carry out hands on/ troubleshooting for facilities systems.
• Ensure good 5S housekeeping is carried out in all facilities area.
• Supervise suppliers/vendors during projects and system maintenance.

• Manage in-house and ad-hoc contractors.
• Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair upon assigned by facilities systems owners.
• Keep track of assigned task and provide updates to facilities system owners.
• Ensure suppliers/vendors maintain 5S housekeeping standards.
• Perform and support facilities related activities not mentioned in the above assigned by other section facilities engineer
