Job summary

Medpace is seeking a full-time Medical Technologist in Singapore to join the Reference Laboratory team. The role focuses on flow cytometry in pharmaceutical research, with training across multiple specialties within the lab.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years of hands-on flow cytometry and immunology experience, and are able to work in a team, including on weekends and public holidays. Opportunities for cross-training across chemistry and haematology are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years hands-on experience in flow cytometry and immunology-related areas.
• Experience with BD FACSLyric or alternative flow cytometer(s) preferred.
• Experience in Immunology and Haematology preferred.
• Familiar with FACSDiva and FlowJo preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration and sample analysis on flow cytometers.
• Assist with development, optimization, and validation of laboratory tests.
• Develop knowledge of regulations for clinical trials.
• Understand pre-analytical variables affecting flow cytometry.
• Perform laboratory investigations and documentation.
• Ensure validity of laboratory data.
• Opportunities to train in other areas such as Chemistry, Haematology, Coagulation or Immunology.
