Job summary

A floral arrangement company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Florist to design and prepare beautiful floral arrangements. You will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the work area, and supporting shop operations during peak seasons. Competitive salary between $2,500 and $2,700, with a 5-day work week.

Job description:

• Design and prepare floral arrangements, bouquets, hampers, and decorations according to customer requests and company standards.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and gift items based on their needs and preferences.
• Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing flowers, materials, and supplies.
• Prepare floral arrangements for events, weddings, corporate functions, and festive seasons.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, storage space, and display shelves.
• Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Support daily shop operations and participate in visual merchandising activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a florist or in a similar creative role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of flower varieties, care methods, and design techniques.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit to handle flowers, move items, and stand for extended periods.
