The Fleet / Traffic Controller is responsible for coordinating daily vehicle movements, driver assignments, and job scheduling to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to operational changes.
Plan and coordinate daily fleet movements and job assignments
Allocate vehicles and drivers based on operational requirements
Monitor job progress and respond to delays, incidents, or route changes
Liaise with drivers, operations, and customer service teams
Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and customer requirements
Maintain accurate records of trips, jobs, and vehicle utilisation
Monitor driver attendance, reporting times, and job completion
Escalate operational issues to management when required
Support compliance with safety, traffic, and operational procedures
Assist with ad-hoc operational and dispatch-related tasks
Minimum ITE / Diploma qualification
At least 1–2 years of experience in fleet control, traffic coordination, or logistics operations
Good knowledge of local routes, traffic conditions, and delivery operations in Singapore
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic operational systems
Strong communication and coordination skills
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Experience in haulage, trucking, or transport operations is an advantage
