Job summary

A leading aviation services provider in Singapore seeks a technician to maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have NITEC or Higher NITEC qualifications and relevant mechanical experience. A Class 3 driving license is mandatory. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety policies, reporting fleet performance, and leading junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience in mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic fields is preferred.
• Must possess a minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles & equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance with technicians and vendors.
• Complete reports on fleet performance and upload to SAP.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspection, repair& maintenance of vehicle & equipment
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with technicians and external vendors, including preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Complete reports on fleet performance and breakdowns, upload maintenance records to SAP fleet management system.
• Carry out tasks as assigned by Supervisor
• Learn all type of operational check and tasking on all type of equipment for PM
• Input spares/parts required into Workshop Parts Request online form
• Ensure spare replacement is authorized
• Lead by example and demonstrate good work practices to junior technicians
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures
• Follows safety policies, practices, administration etc. are enforced and compliance
• Key in detailed completed task into SAP in an orderly and timely manner

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle / Mechatronic or Diesel Mechanic
• Preferably with relevant working experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic & Pneumatic
• Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above
