Job summary

A maritime advisory company based in Singapore is looking for a dedicated individual to manage fleet requisitions, monitor vessel consumables, and oversee crew recruitment. The role requires relevant experience in fleet management, capability to board vessels as needed, and proficiency with software. The candidate will also prepare crew employment contracts and maintain comprehensive files, along with providing necessary training to new crew. This full-time position offers competitive salary and standard working hours.

Qualifications

  • Possession of Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.
  • To be contactable 24/7 and be available to board the vessels as and when required.

Responsibilities

  • Handling of fleet requisitions and delivery arrangements to vessels.
  • Monitoring vessel consumables to prevent wastage.
  • Keeping track of cargo hoses registry and lifting gears registry.
  • Monitoring vessels' LSA and FFA.
  • Carrying out toolbox meetings as a safety committee member.
  • Coordinating medical appointments for crew.
  • Preparing crew employment contracts.
  • Applying for flag state endorsements and maintaining vessel certifications.
  • Maintaining comprehensive personnel files for all crew members.
  • Overseeing crew assignments and rotations.
  • Sourcing and recruiting ship crews.
  • Providing induction training to new crew.
  • Supporting ship staff with scheduling visits for crewing matters.
  • Performing any other fleet management tasks as assigned.
