Job summary

GREENLANE PRIVATE LTD. is seeking a software developer in Singapore. The successful candidate will liaise with FinTech teams to support system development and participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment.

Applicants should have a degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in software development or banking technology. Proficiency in Python or Java is essential, and familiarity with frontend frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, fintech, or banking technology roles.
• Experience in financial institutions or banking technology environment is highly preferred.

• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and system implementations.
• Develop and enhance in-house banking applications and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Head Office FinTech teams and internal business units to support system development, enhancement, and project delivery
• Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions and system implementations
• Develop, maintain and enhance in-house banking applications, automation tools and management reporting systems
• Participate in end-to-end software development lifecycle including design, development, testing and deployment
• Ensure proper documentation of system specifications, workflows and technical processes
• Support digital transformation and automation initiatives within the bank
• Any other duties as assigned by Head of Department or Branch Management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, fintech, or banking technology roles
• Experience in financial institutions or banking technology environment is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of software development principles and system design
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js is an advantage
• Experience with APIs, relational databases, and version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work across business and technical teams
• Good communication skills and stakeholder management ability
