Job summary

Samtec, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections of components, tooling, subassemblies and finished products according to defined criteria, using physical, mechanical and electrical measurements.

The role includes documenting results, reworking or rejecting items as needed, handling urgent deliveries, QA checks on parcels, calibration support, and strict adherence to work instructions. Strong attention to quality and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years in related / similar position
• Min GCE ‘O’ level and above / related technical or equivalent experience.
• Language: English speaking/writing/understand

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of components, tooling, subassemblies & finished products according to the defined criteria with physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing in a timely manner.
• To rework or reject parts, subassemblies or finished products as required.
• To respond on certain urgent delivery , expedited and run daily receipts crystal when all parcels been received to check for missing items that didn’t come to QA.
• To respond for reject report issuing and Enter QP.
• To support on internal calibration, containment , Quarantine and sample verification.
• To follow work instruction without deviation unless approved by Engineering or Management.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by Superior or Management.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

Education

GCE O level or higher / related technical or equivalent experience
