Job summary

Samtec, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a QA Inspector to perform inspections of components, tooling, subassemblies and finished products, ensuring they meet defined criteria through physical, mechanical and electrical checks.

You will document results, assist with calibration and containment tasks, follow quality work instructions, and support urgent deliveries while upholding Samtec quality principles.

Qualifications

• 3 years in related / similar position.
• Min GCE O-level and above / related technical or equivalent experience.
• English language proficiency for speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of components, tooling, subassemblies and finished products per defined criteria with physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
• Accurately document inspection and testing results in a timely manner.
• Rework or reject parts, subassemblies or finished products as required.
• Respond to urgent deliveries and verify daily receipts for missing items.
• Issue reject reports and enter QP data as needed.
• Support internal calibration, containment, quarantine and sample verification.
• Follow work instructions without deviation unless approved.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
• Adhere to Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

Job description

The role will be t o p erform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming material, parts, tool ing and components used in manufacturing process, subassemblies, in-process, semi-finished or finished products.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities.

• Perform inspections of components, tool ing, subassemblies & finished products according to the defined criteria with physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing in a timely manner.
• To rework or reject parts, subassemblies or finished products as required.
• To respond on certain urgent delivery , expedited and run daily receipts crystal when all parcels been received to check for missing items that didn’t come to QA.
• To respond for reject report issuing and Enter QP.
• To support on internal calibration, containment , Quarantine and sample verification.
• To follow work instruction without deviation unless approved by Engineering or Management.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by Superior or Management.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.
