Job summary

KPMG Singapore invites applications for an Audit Associate to join our teams and gain in-depth understanding of client businesses. You will perform audits in line with audit planning and prepare thorough work papers, and reason about conclusions with governance in mind.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised degree in Accountancy with ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent and 1–3 years of experience with listed financial services clients, IFRS knowledge, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent.
• Brings along 1 - 3 years of experience in handling a portfolio of listed clients within Financial Services spaces.
• Good understanding of IFRS and familiarity with regulatory and reporting standards.
• Experience in handling IPO engagements is greatly advantageous.
• Excellent communications skills, strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Working in teams to acquire an in-depth understanding of our client's business;
• Carrying out the audit based on audit planning, prepare appropriate audit work papers;
• Understanding the relationships between objectives of the audit sections, the need for the sufficiency of audit evidence, and presentation of the conclusions

Education

Recognised degree in Accountancy, ACA/ACCA/CPA

1–3 years listed client experience (Financial Services)
