Job summary

LIGHTVERSE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Financial & Operational Controller in Singapore to design and standardise P&L structures across units, regions and product lines.

You will develop margin waterfalls, cost allocation methodologies and revenue recognition standards, ensuring governance and version control across finance frameworks. The role also focuses on redesigning finance processes for efficiency, implementing data integrity controls, and scaling finance infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in P&L structuring and margin logic.
• Commercially astute with industry experience in Palm Industry preferred.
• Proficient with Finance systems (ERP, BI, automation tools).
• Analytical and modelling strength.
• Change management and stakeholder influence.
• Able to translate technical finance into operational language.

Responsibilities

• Design and standardise management P&L structures across business units, regions, and product lines
• Develop margin waterfalls, contribution models, and cost allocation methodologies
• Define and document revenue recognition logic and cost categorisation standards
• Maintain governance over methodology updates and ensure version control
• Redesign finance processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Implement controls around data integrity and reporting logic
• Ensure scalability of finance infrastructure to support growth
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
• Lead finance workstreams in ERP, EPM, and BI system implementations
• Automate P&L reporting and performance analytics
• Enhance data quality, master data governance, and reporting accuracy
• Develop scalable data models for real-time performance visibility
• Act as the bridge between Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders
• Establish structured performance monitoring frameworks that go beyond traditional budgeting
• Build profitability dashboards and analytical tools
• Identify margin leakage, cost inefficiencies, and opportunities for value-creation
• Conduct in-depth profitability analysis by product, contract, customer, and geography
• Collaborate with business leaders to turn analytical insights into actionable strategies.

P&L Architecture & Methodology Design

• Design and standardise management P&L structures across business units, regions, and product lines
• Develop margin waterfalls, contribution models, and cost allocation methodologies
• Define and document revenue recognition logic and cost categorisation standards
• Ensure consistency and alignment between management reporting and statutory frameworks
• Maintain governance over methodology updates and ensure version control

Process Optimisation & Governance

• Redesign finance processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Implement controls around data integrity and reporting logic
• Ensure scalability of finance infrastructure to support growth
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

Finance and Operations Digitalisation & Systems Implementation

• Lead finance workstreams in ERP, EPM, and BI system implementations

Working hours: 9am -6pm
