Moody’s is seeking a Ratings Associate to work with Lead Analysts on credit ratings for banks and financial institutions in South and Southeast Asia. The role involves holistic assessments of credit risk, collaboration with internal and external parties, and active participation in rating committee discussions.

The successful candidate will perform credit analysis, contribute to research, and engage with issuers while upholding Moody’s methodologies and best practices.

Formación

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial services or ratings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the banking sector and credit market.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other Asian languages is a bonus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well in a team with a constructive attitude.
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and interest in applying AI to improve processes.

Responsabilidades

• Performs day-to-day credit analysis related to ratings, research, presentations, and investor outreach.
• Assist with proprietary models and financial projections; identify trends and form credit conclusions.
• Develop knowledge of credit fundamentals through review of transaction docs and cash flow analysis.
• Prepare first draft of rating committee memos with Lead Analysts.
• Attend rating committee meetings and contribute analysis and opinions.
