This is a hands‑on leadership role suited for someone who can operate both strategically and operationally in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Function Setup & Leadership
  • Build and lead the finance team globally, including implementing systems, controls, governance frameworks, and reporting processes.
  • Serve as the key financial advisor to the COO and senior leadership.
  • Establish group-wide financial standards, scalable processes, and long‑term finance operating models.
2. Financial Planning & Budgeting
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and medium/long‑term financial planning across multiple geographies.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, funding strategies, and project performance monitoring.
3. Project & Corporate Finance
  • Support project financing activities, including debt financing, due diligence, project financial models, and lender engagement.
  • Work with banks, financial advisors, and external stakeholders to secure and manage project funding.
  • Support capital structuring and optimisation for new markets and new project vehicles.
4. Accounting & Reporting
  • Oversee group accounting standards, monthly/quarterly closings, and consolidated reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax, regulatory, and statutory reporting requirements across Singapore, Europe, and other markets.
  • Manage external audit processes and liaise with local accounting partners.
5. Cashflow, Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Oversee global cashflow planning, treasury management, working capital, and cost controls.
  • Establish payment governance, invoice workflows, procurement policies, and vendor due diligence frameworks.
  • Monitor project‑level and group‑level cashflow positions.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate governance requirements in Singapore and overseas entities.
  • Manage financial risk, covenant compliance, project drawdowns, and reporting obligations to lenders.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
7. Cross-Border Collaboration
  • Act as the strategic finance bridge between key stakeholders in the company.
  • Ensure alignment with group policies, reporting calendars, and performance management frameworks.
Requirements

  • 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, ideally with exposure to infrastructure, real estate, energy, digital infrastructure, or other capital‑intensive industries.
  • Strong experience in project financing, corporate finance, and full‑spectrum finance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations in Singapore; familiarity with cross‑border statutory/tax requirements is an advantage.
  • Experience building or scaling finance functions in a high‑growth or new‑market environment.
  • Excellent financial modelling, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Hands‑on, entrepreneurial, and willing to build processes from scratch.
  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English. Mandarin or European languages are advantageous due to cross‑border collaboration.
  • Ability to work with global teams across time zones.
Preferred Background
  • Experience in developers, investment firms, or financial advisory roles within infrastructure, renewable energy, data centres, or real assets.
  • Exposure to green financing, sustainability‑linked loans, or energy transition financing.
