interns will engage in Financial Crime and Third‑Party Risk Management projects across Southeast Asia, gaining exposure to AML, sanctions, and risk governance in a fast-paced, high‑growth environment.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Compliance and/or Risk prevention, identification, management, and other processes.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confident and proactive communication skills.
• Ability to think outside the box and be assertive in solving problems.
• Resilient to challenges and receptive to feedback, with a motivated attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of Financial Crime and Third‑Party Risk Management client and business development projects under supervision.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risk or compliance implications for clients, products, systems, procedures, and emerging risks.
• Develop recommendations to help clients comply with regulations or improve efficiency and experience.
• Learn PwC's Global Best AML methodology covering suspicious activity, KYC, OFAC, FATCA, CTR, watch-lists, and related rules.
• Grow technical acumen through on‑the‑job learning and mentorship.
• Work in a multi‑cultural environment and build relationships within the team.
• Establish effective working relationships with supervisors and colleagues.
• Develop internal PwC connections and strengthen PwC brand.
• Keep up to date with regulatory developments and market trends.
