We are an international property group incorporated with headquartered listed in the Main Board of the SGX in Singapore.

We are now looking for a dynamic and talented professional who will oversee all financial aspects of our real estate business.

Duties and Responsibilities

Accounts

• Oversee a team of finance staff in Singapore and overseas countries
• Ensure timeliness of monthly financial reporting to Board of Directors
• Analysis and reporting of group financial performance on a monthly basis
• Ensure the integrity of the accounting system and that accounting records are in compliance with Accounting Standards
• Liaison with external auditors. Ensure timely completion of audit and compliance with statutory audit filing deadlines
• Consolidation of monthly financial reports and annual financial reports

Financial and Operational Controls

• Ensure the integrity of systems, including IT systems and business processes
• Review and enhance systems of internal control throughout the organization

Business Support

• Provide financial advice to support operational management in daily business activities

Treasury and Cashflow

• Cashflow review and planning
• Exchange rate and interest rate hedging strategies

Budget and Financial Planning

• Lead and organize annual budgeting process for the entire group
• Consolidation of group budget and presentation to Board of Directors

Banking Relationships

• Management of banking relationships
• Ensure appropriate banking facilities are secured for the whole group to provide for long term funding, short term funding and trade facilities

Taxation

• Oversee taxation matters for the group
• Tax planning
• New business opportunities
• Capital investment – e.g., investment in building facilities for business purposes in Singapore and potentially other regional countries

Requirements

• Must be a CPA and possess at least a Bachelor’s degree preferably in accountancy
• Strong accounting experience with 10 to 15 years’ experience in the accounting / controls environment
• Well versed with financial reporting and SGX regulatory compliance
• Has an eye for details, able to multi-task and work in a high pressure environment
• High level of integrity and strong leadership skills
