Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group is seeking a diligent accounting professional to monitor MAS and SGX regulatory ratios, prepare timely reports, and support month-end closing controls. You will analyze financial performance for local management and assist in audits and group reporting package reviews, with opportunities to contribute to ALCO decks and tax documentation.

The role requires a university degree in Accountancy and at least 2 years in banking, with strong analytical abilities and proficiency

Qualifications

• University degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 2 years of banking industry experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting in the banking industry would be an advantage.
• Candidates with external audit experience in the financial sector are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in basic coding or Power BI or relevant vendor solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MAS and SGX regulatory ratios daily.
• Prepare and submit MAS and SGX reports.
• Perform month-end closing controls.
• Analyze financial performance and key metrics; prepare reports for local management and business lines.
• Support manager in governance, statutory audits, and group reporting package reviews.
• Prepare ALCO decks.
• Prepare quarterly GST reporting for entities.
• Assist with corporate income tax return and transfer pricing documentation, liaising with tax advisors.

• Responsible for daily MAS and SGX regulatory ratios monitoring


• Responsible for MAS and SGX report preparation and submission

Financial and management reporting

• Responsible for performing month-end closing controls


• Perform in-depth analysis on financial performance/key metrics and prepare reports for local management and business lines


• Support manager in other controls and governance, statutory and other audits of entities


• Support manager in review of Group reporting packages

ALM and Tax

• Responsible for ALCO deck preparation


• Responsible for preparation of quarterly GST reporting for entities


• Contribute to annual corporate income tax return and transfer pricing document preparation, including liaison with tax advisors

Requirements

• University degree in Accountancy.


• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the banking industry
