Key Responsibilities
- 1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and financial performance reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
- Develop sales, product, and profitability dashboards for commercial teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- 2. Commercial Business Partnering
- Provide KPIs and performance tracking reports to the sales and commercial teams.
- Analyze product, customer, and regional sales trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales and management to monitor and achieve business targets.
- Offer financial guidance to optimize pricing, promotions, and sales strategies.
- 3. Accounting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and accounting records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IRAS, ACRA, and internal policies.
- Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
- 4. Banking & Reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking transactions.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company finances.
- 5. Systems & Process Improvement
- Manage day-to-day accounting processes in Xero.
- Leverage SAP/ERP experience to streamline reporting, integration, and efficiency.
- Assist with digital transformation initiatives, automation, and process improvements.
- 6. Ad Hoc Projects & Support
- Prepare ad hoc financial and commercial analyses as requested by management.
- Support decision-making through insights on business performance, costs, and margins.
Requirements
- • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, ideally with exposure to commercial reporting.
- • Proficiency in Xero Accounting System (mandatory).
- • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (preferred).
- • Strong understanding of P&L reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).
- • Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for commercial teams.
- • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
