Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to join our Family Office. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role that blends financial analysis, investment reporting, and operational management. You will work closely with the investment team to prepare trading statements and management accounts, while also driving efficiency through our internal accounting automation tools.

As part of a lean team, you will also assist with compliance, stakeholder management, and essential office administration.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare timely and accurate management accounts and trading statements for the trader/investment team to support decision‑making.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and transaction data to assist external accountants in preparing the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and process bank payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Systems & Process Improvement
  • Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of our proprietary accounting app and automation tools.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve data efficiency.
3. Compliance & Stakeholder Liaison
  • Coordinate effectively with external accountants, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and banks.
  • Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure strict compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
4. Operations & Administrative Support
  • Provide high‑level administrative support, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and calls to ensure the team is prepared and punctual.
  • Manage general office operations, including office maintenance, filing systems, and vendor management.
  • Undertake ad‑hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in management accounting or fund accounting.
  • Prior experience in Banks, Fund Management, or Financial Institutions is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience managing a full set of accounts.

    Strong proficiency in preparing management accounts and trading statements.

    Comfortable with technology; interest in automation and system improvements.

  • Professional Qualifications: CPA, ACCA, CA, or ISCA certification is an added bonus.
