Job summary

LearnLux Financial Wellbeing is seeking a Financial Advisor (remote) to support employees in Singapore with unbiased financial guidance. You will work directly with high-net-worth clients, focusing on wealth protection, growth, and comprehensive planning while serving a broad employee base.

The role leverages LearnLux digital platforms, reports to the Global Planning Manager, and emphasizes independence, client-first service, and cross-border expertise.

Qualifications

• Active financial planning/advisory designation.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Experience advising high-net-worth clients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and take direction.
• Experience across retirement, equity compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, cash flow planning, estate planning, insurance.

Responsibilities

• Meet and engage with clients remotely to provide guidance on budgeting, retirement readiness, equity compensation, and more.
• Advise high net worth clients on complex topics like concentrated stock positions and cross-border tax exposure.
• Advise on and adapt LearnLux planning methods to topics relevant in Singapore.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share expertise and improve the digital experience.
• Become an expert on clients’ benefit plans to assist during enrollment.
• Collaborate with content team to outline, review, and approve content for the LearnLux platform.
• Lead engagement campaigns for employer partners, such as webinars and on-site events.

About The Role

LearnLux is looking for a Financial Advisor located in Singapore to join our team on a contractor basis. Leveraging the LearnLux digital experience, you’ll work directly with employees based in Singapore to provide unbiased, holistic financial guidance, with a strong focus on high-net-worth clients navigating complex wealth. Your extensive financial experience and client-first approach will help these clients protect, grow, and plan around significant assets, while still serving the full range of employees we support across income levels.

This is a fully remote role reporting to our Global Planning Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and engage with clients remotely over video, chat, and email to give guidance on topics like budgeting, retirement readiness, equity compensation, and more
• Advise high net worth clients on complex topics like concentrated stock positions, cross-border tax exposure, and wealth transfer planning
• Advise on and adapt the LearnLux methodology to financial planning topics relevant in Singapore
• Participate in regular team meetings to bring your subject matter expertise to improve the LearnLux digital experience
• Become an expert on our client’s benefit plans so you can act as an extension of their team during benefits enrollment
• Work with our content team to create outlines, review lessons, and approve content created for the LearnLux digital platform
• Lead engagement campaigns for our employer partners, like digital webinars and occasional on-site events

You Should Have

• An active financial planning/advisory designation
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Demonstrated experience advising high net worth, including on concentrated equity positions and complex financial situations
• Passion for educating individuals to take control and invest in their financial future
• Have the ability to perform several tasks concurrently, to prioritize work, and to take direction from multiple team members
• Experience in multiple areas of personal finance: Retirement, equity compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, cash flow planning, estate planning, insurance, and more

Nice to haves

• Fluency in Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil
• Prior experience serving high net worth clients at a private bank, family office, or wealth management firm
• Startup and/or Fintech experience
• Experience creating presentations and presenting to large audiences
