Job summary

Tencent Finance in Singapore invites applicants for a Financial Accounting and Analysis Intern role. You will be exposed to end-to-end accounting processes across General Ledger, AP, AR, and Finance Operations, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment.

You will support month-end close, reconciliations, invoicing, and intercompany coordination with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s in Accountancy; 6-month full-time internship starting

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Commit to a full-time internship from September 2026 for 6 months.
• Apply accounting knowledge to practical scenarios and resolve issues.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency required for coordinating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (GL), ensuring accurate and timely financial entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
• Verify, process, and manage Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely vendor payments and handling discrepancies.
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) activities by assisting in customer invoicing, tracking payments, and managing overdue receivables.
• Collaborate with teams to streamline Finance Operations and support financial audits by preparing relevant documentation.

What The Role Entails

Join our dynamic Tencent Finance team as Financial Accounting and Analysis Intern where you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in real-world accounting and financial practices. You will be having the exposure to the end-to-end accounting and finance processes, focusing either on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Finance Operations, offering you tailored hands-on experience in the complex commercial and business environment. This role is designed to provide you with a deep understanding of financial processes, contributing directly to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting and operations.

Who We Look For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship from September 2026 onwards, for 6 months.
• Demonstrated ability to apply accounting knowledge in practical scenarios, particularly in identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English required. Working proficiency in Mandarin required, as approximately 80% of the role involves coordinating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional teams.
